The young man who calls himself Trowa Barton has always been an expert in blending in to the background but crossing to the world of Gaia has brought his true nature into the light. There once was roguish priest who asked a innocent looking tavern girl to bear his children...He had his sights on the landlords gold...and ended up with a serious headache for his efforts. she reveved him of the gold, his staff and enough life essence to birth a Deceptant Hanyo. and the lecherous monk was none the wiser.

The inspiration for this series is the overlap of voice actors from ocean group. Kirby Morrow plays Trowa Barton from Gundam wing, Miroko from InuYasha and the title role in Mosaic who is a shape shifter. It is this last that made me link Trowa to Zongi from Escaflowne making them the same species. Described as tall thin and green eyes… Zongi looked emaciated because he was an addict, draining life essence and murdering his victims to support his habit. Trowa is more mindful of his nature and takes precautions to prevent such dependence. (I realize Kirby also voices Von Fanel in Escflowne but I link Von to Heero yuy on account of looks and angel/archangel warren worthington --both voiced by Mark Hildreth and didn't want to make things too complicated.)

The world the story takes place in is that of Escflowne/InuYasha but the story begins in the world of Gundam wing. The story is still in the works but when complete will be posted at fanfiction.net keep an eye out for "crossing the void" by windwraith
