I never thought I'd do Miraculous fan art one day.
But it's the only children's show (that I know of) that is neither a lame
remake nor one of those really badly animated, trivial series that
make your head hurt when you watch them.
So ya. I like this series. It has good vibes and thought through characters
that are more than just black and white stereotypes.
This drawing took longer than expected, building the bridge was hard
without a 3D software, I'll definitely use one, next time I draw architecture.

I honestly haven't watched Miraculous, but I've heard many good things about it. This fanart is one of the better I've seen from this show! And the time you spent on it was definitely worth it, it turned out wonderful *-*
A thing I could point out though is the bridge. It looks like you spent a lot of time on it, but in my eyes it looks a bit too realistic in comparison to the rest of the piece. Looking at the boat, water and buildings in the background they have more of a painted style whilst the bridge looks almost photo realistic with no signs of brush strokes. Idk, it just looks a bit odd having it being so high rendered, even the main focus(adrien and ladybug) isn't that level of rendering. It doesn't ruining the piece tho!
The poses look perfect, especially ladybug's. Very dynamic! The black cat does take a bit attention away from the couple, maybe that's what you intended tho. Maybe having the cat sit in the boat would bring more focus to the other characters (maybe it's out of character Idk xD Again, I don't know anything about this show).
I like that you got out of the rule of thirds and positioned the couple a bit more to the left, it adds a bit more interest
Overall I think you did a really good job on this!

Ahh yes I've struggled with that bridge a lot. It was so hard to get right! Before I started to add more brush strokes to it actually looked like this:
When I put more brush strokes in it I was afraid I might ruin the perspective again if I edit it too much I guess xD
I'm glad you like the poses! It was kinda hard to make it look like they sit on the railing and not like they're about to jump into the river. During my sketch phase they spent a long time just being torsos sitting on the railing while I kept erasing their legs. xD
The black cat has a strong connection to the boy (Adrien). Both of the characters are teenagers who turn into super heroes when someone is in danger. And the reason why they can do it are their little friends - a ladybug and a black cat (the one in the image). Like this .
As normal teenagers Ladybug wants to date Adrien and as super heroes Adrien wants to date Ladybug but neither of them knows who the other one is in real life ... I hope this explains the image a bit xD

Perspective is a bit of a pain T_T I do understand that you didn't want to edit the bridge too much.
Kissing whilst taking a jump into the river lol. The struggle was worth it! It's the perspective that makes it difficult. Since you can see the underside of the bridge then you'll also see the underside of the thighs a bit.

This is so pretty! I can't choose which I love more: the gorgeous water, the magical lighting around the lamp in the boat, that stunning starry sky, or that soft cityscape in the background. Seriously the whole environment is just beautiful, I adore how you've colored things. Plagg is a funny addition to the piece and of course you did a lovely job with the starring characters themselves too!

is absolutely breathe taking Wind. Probably one of the best Miraculous fan arts I've seen yet! The shading and lighting is so well done, and I LOVE that city background behind the trees ;w;
I really wish I had the time and knowledge to do painted arts like this, I do try to practice as much as I can. This truly is amazing, you did a really great job!!
