This looks much more like Ronald Howard than the other one. But also more realistically. And far less Holmesy... but THAT is probably because he has this terribly cute smile on his lips.
From another screenshot of the Neurotic Detective episode. Holmes is getting ready for a formal reception thingie and hadn't noticed that Lestrade had come to see him. He greets him with this smile, I think it is more sceptical than I drew it here but I couldn't possibly erase this smile ... xD

In 80's version, this episode was called "the Perfect Crime", featuring Geoffrey Whitehead as Sherlock Holmes. Though entertaining as well, I still prefer the original one.

Ah yeah, I am not sure if it is the same but several of these little episodes have been re-done at a later time. I, too, prefer the ones from 56.
