SURPRISE GIFT!! I AM THE CHIBI FACTORYI did chibis for all WINTER participants as well as all of this year's volunteers for exchange-palooza !
Characters belong to their respective owners as given above.
Lots of work, but super fun to draw everyone's children!! I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed learning about your characters!
Please excuse inconsistencies in proportions/style/linewidth/etc.... I did these across several weeks and I'm not very consistent anywayyyyy
inb4 will we do this next year??: I don't know! We might change the criteria and/or format (especially if we get a lot of participants), but we will definitely do a winter thing for people who consistently participate, put in effort, volunteer, etc... so... participate in as many exchanges as you can, put in your best effort, and volunteer with every opportunity! That being said, this is REALLY FUN and I can't wait to do something like this again~

also tell me if I got someone's name or username wrong/misplaced! (it has happened twice... so bad...) or if you want something fixed or if I messed up your character or if you want them gone or whatever i will comply haha
If, at any point, there are any non-participant volunteers for this exchange, send a wishlist my way because you deserve a cheeb! I'll squeeze you in... somehow...
If you want your character by themselves (with transparent background if you wish) for whatever reason, message me.
If you want a chibi but want nothing to do with art trades you can throw money at me and i will make you one lol

Thank you so much for doing this, I'm amazed and moved! You put a lot of work into this, and I love your renditions of everyone together! It gives a strange sense of unity to an extremely eclectic collection of characters, and it's really neat! (And I love how you portrayed Ixviel, you got his atmosphere right on even with just a brief description of him, I'm happy about that!)

I think it was because I liked his story and you giving more depth to a "villain" character. He's a hero of his own story and by being misunderstood by society, you gave insight in to the Typical Innocent Civilians who maybe aren't so innocent. There's also the idea of how by rejecting the Call of Adventure (e.g. saving the world through sacrifice) makes one a villain, whereas accepting the Call of Adventure makes one a hero. So by refusing to sacrifice one's life for the world (a very human choice and a choice that most people would make, I think), Ixviel is cast as a villain rather unfairly. Thus, most people would be cast as villains, if they were put in the same situation Ixviel was put in. There's my word vomit! I hope it makes sense, haha

It's interesting that you bring up the idea that most people would do what Ixviel would do, because in this case, it's an event that happens every 500 years and is thus ingrained in the culture almost religiously. (I should probably add that in his description orz) So, no one has gone against this grain until Ixviel, because of peer pressure, tradition and group think, in essence. So, at least in this world, people can be conditioned to give up their own lives if society normalizes it. Thus it really is a scandalous action to go against it, perhaps even more so than if it were a one-time event.
Hope you'll forgive my blabbing in turn, haha! I'm just fascinated by your conception of his character.
