Finally I've been to Klein-Auheim again A lot had been changed and was changed while I was there. I arrived at the wolf enclosures while the young arctics (Inuq, Aslan and Monja) have waited to return to their enclosure between the old arctics (Scott, Khan and Ayla) and the europeans (Roy, Hagen and Siegfried). A few minutes I had the chance to get really close to them as there was no electric fence just some netting wire between us (no good area to photograph), then they've got moved and were happy to be back close to their old packmates. Well ... Scott and Co weren't that happy. There is a visual protection between the two enclosures but they still try to see each other and of course hear and smell the other - now sadly antagonized - pack. Both packs were quite excited and Scott, Khan and Ayla stood at their hill looking like the big kings. They aren't, the seperation is necessary because the old ones nearly had been killed by the youngsters. But now Scott can be the new old Alpha and behaves as always. I'm very happy for him

Edit: Following Wincey s advise I've changed the crop of the photo. Even though the nice branches are now more or less cut off but in my eyes it looks much better and Scott is for the stock users closer What do you think (if you remember the old one), is this one better?
