I think that at least the Volturi know they're going to hell. with the exception of Bella (and Nessie), all of the vampires come from times where they believed that monsters were Satan's workers (including witches) and that being one meant that you were automatically damned to hell. In an ironic twist of fate that Carlisle was turned into one unfortunately for that time.

Yea. I didn't notice when your comment was written lol. I kind of did extrapolate from your comment and I did find it ironic that given Carlisle's background that he became a vampire and I did want to smack Edward sometimes about his issues.
and who wants to go to hell anyways-I think that's why the other vampires don't discuss religion, they're afraid that's exactly where their headed but don't want to accept. I was raised a Catholic, but I'm agnostic. I don't know and no one can know where we'll end up after death, but no one will know until we die. In an episode of South Par about religion, one character said that maybe Christians use Hell as a way to scare people into believing what they (Christianity as a religion) believe that doing evil or committing sin means you go to hell and doing good gets you into heaven.

you're probably right. Though to be fair, Carlisle should convert to Buddhism given the fact that Buddhism deals with obtaining compassion and wisdom and Carlisle's on the right track. and it's okay. I don't really get on too much either recently.
