Maplekit was born into the shadowclan with his two siblings Blackkit and Scrapekit. His mother, Autumnpelt, was a beautiful, Orange and white spotted, short haired queen with a singular black paw, and a well respected warrior in her clan. His mother gave birth alone, no mate in sight by her side other than her best friend, another warrior by the name of FeatherHeart.
Maplekit and his two other siblings have gotten along fairly well together. Him and Scrapepaw constantly roughhoused and play fought, including playing pretend of being "Warrior and Intruder". He'd constantly bash Scrapepaw with questions with how easily he can sweep his paws off the ground. Blackkit and him usually joked between each other, as well, as showing Maplekit how she did he antics.
With the absent of his father, Featherheart was the closest he would get of a father figure. She was almost as strong and aggressive as a Tom, but sweet and tender with the support of her pure white coat. Maplekit would always bombard her with question, to which, she would softly answer without burning out. The two would have small sessions to themselves for her to answer his questions.
As the war soon, and, unfortunately broke out once Maplekit was beginning to grow closer to apprentice hood, he was issues to escape as FeatherHeart and his mother fought with their clan. As he was running through, he was caught by two other Thunderclan cats. They were about to tear him limb from limb before he heard the scream of his name by Scrapepaw and Blackkit. he wiggled free, having the aftermath of his tail being slashed. He escaped unharmed otherwise.
As him and his siblings ran further away, Blackkit soon fell behind, collapsing with a large gash across her flank. Him and Scrapepaw did their best, but she died due to blood loss. They mourned, but kept on running as they heard the war rage closer.
Soon, the two would part ways as they grow older, but do promise to visit once in a while.
