Description
So here's a bit of a game I'm working on through RPG Maker VX Ace. I don't have much done, but I wanted to show what little I have, since I'm getting close to working on actual game play now (since I've managed to crap out a bit of art for it). Most of the background tiles are heavily inspired by the default art for the program (though, with an 8-bit rule-set), while the character sprite was heavily inspired by Final Fantasy (the Dawn of Souls remake) Final Fantasy Legend, and Dragon Warrior (aka Dragon Quest). Though I'm following what I know of the NES graphical rules, I didn't use the NES pallet (debating on whether I should or not). Regardless, the colors are likely to change over the course of development.

So anyway... first screenshot is a bit of the overworld map; the second, part of the town, and the third is inside the building (pretty plain at the moment, but I DID manage to make an interior effect when you go inside the building, just like the first Dragon Warrior(rather than a different map for interiors)). Also, though you can't tell in still frames, I also managed to make a walking delay when traveling the hills (also pretty much like DW1). *Also also, the water has a three frame animation (which I didn't originally mention because that's pretty standard with this version of RPG maker). Though it's not much, I'm pretty happy with it so far.
