This is a random comment, don't be offended. I know people don't like when their art is compared to other artist's work. But, I just have to say this. This piece in particular reminds me of a Finnish painter, Helene Shjerfbeck. And I mean this as a compliment, she is one of my favourite artists, and I have never before found no one who would have such a style as her. Her work is really beautiful, with something very intimate about how she portrays the subject.  I had this image: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia⦠of hers in my collection, but didn't know who the artist was until now.
