Thanks. . . It's quite fascinating watching those figures move between you and the sun. . . Your eyes are good enough to see more of the person - but you know the camera will pick them up in silhouette.

yeah, so many times I wish my camera could automatically pick up what my eyes see..but silhouettes, I don't know why, they're quite enchanting..

Yep. Our eyes are much more light-responsive than film. . . You often have to say to yourself: This is what I'm seeing. What will my camera see?

This is a stunning shot and I'm glad you didn't crop it, it would have taken away from the open beach feel.

Wow, this shot is really cool! I wish I had pictures like this one in my gallery! The only critique that I have, is that if you should crop it more tightly it would be a more intimate photograph. The foreground is perfect, but the back disturbs a little bit. If you see the picture in small size it doesn’t matter that much, but if you check the full-view it would definitely improve it!
Other then that the moment is captured perfectly, do you by any chance know the family? Because I think they would be very happy with a picture like that!
Ah yeah, I would also make it black and white .

Thanks so much for the critique. . . Good suggestions. . . No, I don't know the family. Just people on a beach.

Great foto The light is perfect and i especially like the green glow of the water. I don't really have advanced critique but maybe you could have cropped of the top of the sky with the sky, it's a bit distracting maybe, but it's only a detail.

Thanks a lot. . . I do this kind of thing whenever I can - and there are a lot of similar shots earlier in my gallery. . . I only get to a location like this every few months unfortunately.

Thanks a lot. Yes - east coast, Australia. Wonderful place. Pretty big on the backpacker trail for obvious reasons.
