Coming over from Nina's Crit Forum (forum.deviantart.com/art/photo⦠). Naturally, these are just my opinions!
This is a lovely piece of work indeed. It could be a promo shot for an action movie, or almost a drawing. You capture the energy really well, and the angle of the background adds to the 'on the run' feel'. All the lines - the buildings speaking of height, the tilted wall saying we're moving, and his really strong line into the image, catching the eye and driving it straight back - are bold, and match the subject. Your use of the haze in the background is almost surreal - and certainly if you tweaked it in post, you did a really nice job of the borders - something that is often rushed or done poorly.
Your lighting seems quite 'studio', where I come from a very 'found light' world. The left and front fill feel almost too strong for me. Within the genre, they certainly fit, but there is a different image hiding in here, where you capture the jump in just natural light. Something more grainy and gritty would fit it in with those black and white boxing ring images, and give a sense of grit. That said this style of parkour may not really overlap with the same sense of struggle those images have. But I would love to see some 'raw' images like this.
The last thing is to seriously consider dropping the DA watermark. There are a number of groups that simply won't take submissions if it is present, and it often ruins images, and makes them very hard to parse. I fully understand managing copyright issues, but making a distinctive brush in Photoshop is quite straightforward. You can then place it where it is distinctive, but not distracting.
Again, welcome to dA. I am sure you work is going to be popular here!
