The breeze was bitter cold as he ran, stinging at the wetness on his cheeks, but Tuscan didn’t notice. All he could feel was his anger, and his grief, at the injustice that had been done to him. It can’t be her. It CAN’T! His father was wrong, the King was wrong. Everyone was wrong!! He was a stag of dark fur, upstanding principles, a Glenmore Lord through and through! He had done nothing but excel in this herd, he was perfect! And this was what he got in return? A splotchy Princess? It wasn’t fair!
And then there was what Lord Duncan said… “It is what you have brought upon yourself!” Count Raven, the stupid fool, the one who was likely responsible for everything had insulted him also. But he was wrong… he didn't know anything. He just wanted Tuscan to be miserable. He was just jealous that Tuscan was young and strong and better than him! Jealousy… Raven was jealous. Dun

Lord Tuscan returns to his father's glade, escorted by the servant Duncan sent to fetch him. The young stag's head was low and dejected. He looks at Duncan miserably and opens his mouth to speak but Lord Duncan speaks first. The message is already on it's way; he has rejected the proposal to betroth Tuscan to Princess Celeste! Shock washes over Tuscan. And then joy! As he celebrates, Duncan looks on, concerned. Both about his son’s behavior especially in front of their staff and for the potential consequences of slighting Count Raven.

However, due to Raven’s failing health he doesn’t give much thought to this slight in the last weeks of his life. Perhaps Tuscan, as usual, gets what he wants. And with no ramifications! Or so it seems....

Wonder what Tuscan was going to say to his father? That will be revealed soon! C:
Yes it was revealed that Tuscan was going to accept Celeste after all! But he is pretty thrilled he doesn't have to haha
