I was camping in France (only came back today) and I was really struck by the fact that the French were really into Alice in Wonderland, and I was inspired!This is the dress that I wrote into my fanfiction for Alice in Wonderland, when Alice is at a ball at Marmoreal, after she returns after five years. Tarrant made it for her, obviously, and I just think he would have made the dress with references to Wonderland and her adventures (the roses in reference to the white and red roses of the two queens, the blue for her original dress and the swirls to tie in with Tim Burton's style and Absolem's opium swirls)

she has soo many dresses! if i had to choose... toss up between her victorian one at the start or the 'curtain' red queen dress (if that was made out of the curtains, i wish i had those curtains!)- tried to incorporate the victorian dress with the nice silver clothes she wears in Marmoreal with this dress

I didn't know that France really took to the style of Alice in Wonderland, that's really neat. And as for your picture, I think her dress looks really pretty and I love the symbolism in the dress so it gives it more depth and meaning to it.
And do please upload your fanfic, it sounds really good
