I think Lucio would be the most mysterious one - I'm yet very stunned the apprentice was dead - and I'd guess Lucio's curse is related too...(because everyone's marks seem related to their death)

I hope the payoff for the angst is good tho. 
otherwise its kinda.. useless? 
Ya i think so too. like what they would sacrifice for the ones they love kind of things. 
like id trade my life to keep them alive sort of romantic.

Yeah, cause the apprentice solving the murder may mean their death too... I almost cried when that damn Julian basically suicided (the first books, I started with Asra)

Hahahahah well, I though Asra was a gente, subtle and lovable one; Nadia, a strong independent, trustful, who demanded company - in a good way; and Julian, he was the type of person which makes everything for who loves, but don't tell, silently suffering. I'm a sweet-tooth for relationships as well for food preference, so Asra was by far my favorite, then Nadia and Julian was fun
