I always see necros like that of those from the movie The Mummy; Dry/dusty, maybe hard to kill but completely without free-flowing liquids.
I see your point.
Fantasy worlds are creator driven; meaning physics or anatomy may bend/brake the physical (real world) rules.
However. There are still standards/guidelines and limits.
Making correlations with that of the world in which we experience; so that understanding such depictions relate to that of what we know.
I am not discrediting their work, and I have stated this is far beyond my skills, for I have browsed their gallery and found many other pieces just as, even more so, spectacular.
By no means is this artist's creations anything less than great.
I feel that it's a perspective error as well as posture of the focal point, this being the White Knight, that draws the attention away from this piece being completely perfect.

I am not damning this piece, especially since it is far beyond my skill level, and even with it's flaws it's still a marvelous piece.
1. I feel the 'White Knight' may have been changed from a man to a woman.
For obvious reasons dealing with the chest.
(Perhaps bad angle?)
2. Necros, especially those whom have been dead for as long as these creatures appear to be, would not retain such fluidity in their veins.
Even so, blood splatter/remnants would be upon the blades.
(The stabbed Necro clearly has no flash, as you can see its skeleton between the armor and head.)
3. Posture of the 'White Knight', upon first glance (possibly the angle of the scene), appeared that she sliced through the Necro's neck using the sword and not the dagger. As if making one big swipe from right to left (her point of view).
Please take this as some constructive criticism; as I have stated this is a magnificent piece of your abilities.Β

There are no specific rules for "Necros", and this artist's interpretation is just as valid as yours.

She appears to be missing any sort of protection for her heart doesn't she? Talk about an easy target for a knife/arrow/sword/claw/sharp object kicked up in a fight.

That is, what is known in the industry, as Sex appeal.

I suppose so, but it looks ridiculous to me, especially when the rest of the armor looks so nice andΒ protective.

Furthermore. Why is there blood at all? Clearly you can see the skeleton of the necro she just stabbed.
Even though the rest of the necros have flesh and muscle tone I am pretty sure they have been dead a long time for their blood toΒ coagulated.
