I must be an owl (or a vampire) because I get the best inspiration at night... Finished this drawing at about 3 in the morning, and I'm rather proud of it.Rammstein's bassist Oliver "Olli" Riedel, reference photo by boogiejames [link] from "Made in Germany" tour.
Ballpoint pen outline, colored with Photoshop.

E' quella l'idea che mi Γ¨ venuta dopo mezzanotte... Siccome nella foto alcune parti sono completamente nere (colore dello sfondo), ho pensato di mantenere l'effetto senza appesantire troppo il tutto. Quindi anzichΓ© colorare prima le ombre, come faccio di solito, ho lasciato il colore del fondo e ho dipinto solo le parti illuminate. ^^

In that case, we're both owls or vampires, because I work best at night.
I think it's simply because there isn't the hustle and bustle and restless energy in the night, as there is in the daytime.
The world becomes a much more calm, serene place at night, thus giving us the calm and peace to focus on working.
