Interesting character. He must have hyper-selective hearing if he's able to locate an owl over the sound of the wind and his own wings flapping. I'm also curious to how he was blinded in the first place, especially if it managed to take out his right eye and eyelids in the process.

Thanks~ I don't remember what i wrote there because it was probably written a decade ago but the owl does hoot hoot. 
Dunno! :v I'll figure out again what blinded him. i do not set anything in stone that is not in a plot i'm actively producing, and he isn't in those, so it doesn't matter at the moment. But the thing probably had zero experience in poking eyes out, but was very committed to doing it, and Nick was probably also very committed to protesting it. Messy in any case.

I see (uh...no offence Nick). I understand keeping certain character aspects fluid, especially in developmental phases, although I will say some parts warrant explanation, especially catastrophic injuries; I think the 'want to know' is just natural in such cases. It just seemed odd to leave out such a detail, since you've developed his character really well.

I did have an explanation for it, and i did leave it out on (a different) purpose back then. Which is, i place plot above characters in priority, and to reveal everything about a character WILL spoil the plot. So i won't do it unless someone who doesn't care to read the story for whatever reason, asks (i mean i do take a long ass time to get the story out there) - if i don't know whether someone cares about the plot or not, i default to no spoilers. I wasn't an expert back then at not spilling stuff but i tried.
Now it doesn't matter because the original explanation sux and i'm not keeping it so i might as well pretend it never existed

The stories aren't done (any of them), so nope. There are two comics i'm actively working on and i'll just post them to any site that can handle it.

I can't get over how stunning all your refs are...they're gorgeous and well set up and informative and they're such a refreshing change from the much more common style of ref, the ones where everything is boxed in and lined up all scientifically and whatnot. So very nice <3

HE...is so awesome. I think he was the first character i saw when i visited your gallery and he attracted my attention so much. I FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM.

Aw he isn't my main punching bag. He's actually pretty lucky, compared to my other... 'toys'. 
I'm glad you like it... being an attention-magnet due to the wings+stripes+brightness is one thing and being likable is another (even better thing).

That scene of them landing together is so cute. I'm not sure why it's cute, it just is. XD The owl makes everything adorable in my opinion.
