Amazing shot! The motion of the flow is wonderfully captured and the B&W makes the whole view so dramatic!! Great work!

Amaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!! Very long exposure? Composition+ b&w = Perfect
I like how the trees and bridge are rather sharp, but the water looks like fairy floss again wonderful texture and contrast. Makes it look dreamy, maybe even going into fantasy feeling. bah! I love it!

I have nothing more to say, I just wanna stare...

We dont have any ruins here in Toronto but I usually go shooting with my daughter [link] she like abandoned buildings or houses.

In Poland we have lots of old buildings, ruins d abandoned places... There is nothing much better than a six, seven hudred-years-old castle .

*sighs*I love this,so dreamy. The froathy water, the clouds dotting the horizon over the waters.the trees and a wonderful touch as well.Magnificent.

I must admit I have been looking at this photo for a while not sure what I like about it or if it was good enough to upload and came to the conclusion that it was the smooth flowing water and the way it cuved along with the distant broken bridge in the background.

Good choice,I really liked this one,out of your recent ones. It's really....well you know..Breathtaking for me,especially since I live in something similar to a shoe box where the only beauty we get to see is th fake trees in neighbor hoods

The movement of the sky does a fine job of complimenting the movement of the water below. This shot is balanced on more levels than one - quite beautiful actually!

I also like the balance with the flowing long exposure water in the for-front!!

You've handled the highlights really well - I've seen a lot of photos on the site recently where they are clipped and a lot of detail has been lost. The water here has a nice texture to it

whiter-shade In reply to londonxpress [2006-06-21 02:45:03 +0000 UTC]

Your right I have also seen clipped highlights and I have also seen alot photos with really heavy clipping on the shadows but for some reason I dont mind clipped shadows as long as its intentional and it adds to the mystery.
Cheers
