Enchanted senses-Since becoming a nekomata, all his five senses have developed to higher level than an average cat. His most developed senses are hearing, smell and vision as he enjoys people watching and listening to happenings around him. His taste sense is average and touch sense is least developed among senses as he relays more on former three.

Bakeneko Phisiology:

Dream walking-Is able to enter the dreams of others and change, manipulate them to some degree. This skill can only be used if the person in question is asleep. He is currently practicing to be able to enter daydreams.
Levitation-as a spirit youkai, he is able to levitate and hover in air, up to two meters from ground. This is his most preferred method of following people when he is up to no good or is just to lazy to walk on his feet.

Kagami is by nature calm and gentle with playful steak and very open minded.
With strangers has a habit of being silent, observing them and not engaging in conversation only when talked directly he will answer or give his opinion. As opposite with his closest people and friends.He is laughing, talking freely, clinging and cuddling with them as Kagami likes physical contact and is very affectionate. But he is shy at initiating that. And bit oblivious about social life. Answering question without thought and later regretting being so honest and unguarded. When making friends or enemies that status will last a lifetime. He forgets but does not forgive.

History:

He had a very short time living with his mother and siblings as he was then still a tiny kitten, when he was gifted away. He was given as a gift from a rich man to his beloved geiko(Kimika). A move from one live full on family to loneliness was a sock, he was very scared and shy so women living in geisha house cuddled, spoiled and poured him with love. As time passed he got used to his new life and home. Chasing away the mice that tried to get near the house, playing with maikos and Kimika, napping on a window still or people watching. Life was very comfortable, indeed he became the perfect pet.
Years passed Kimika had replaced the previous okaa-san.
Everyone where slowly starting to notice how long he has been living with them, as it had already been over 20 years. And cats clearly live at average 12-14 the most. Kagami was starting to get a little conscious about it himself, he didnt feel old at all or at the end of his life. Then he started to go out and explore the neighborhood, and looking for other cats as old as he. These occasional wanderings where mostly unsuccessful. Make No mistake, he still was mostly a house cat accustomed to easy comfortable life and good food, being adored by the women in the house.Life continued.
Another 2 decades passed very fast and if before it was just surprising now it really was an miracle how long he had lived. People where starting to talk and say that the cat was cursed, demon or youkai moreover That was the year when his owner had passed away due to an sudden incurable illness. Neighbors where even whispering that it was the demon cats fault that Kimika had died.
Kagami couldn't keep on living there any more, too heart broken form owners death and continuing fear from people who thought him to be a youkai. Some even resulted to throwing stones at him when he was on the streets. He left his home, wandering from place to place. But something always drew him back, occasionally sneaking back to the flower town.
During these years he was sometimes picked off streets by some kind soul or usually a little girl and allowed to live in their home if he took care of their mice problem. Other times he was fed by old ladies. He could not adjust to living, providing himself so he always found himself a temporary place to live and get fed. He didnt stay long in any of his homes in fear of people discovering that he is a youkai.
By this time he already had accepted that he is not a normal cat, but something more maybe even an youkai.
The last home like before he left the human world was a young artist work shop.Thats where he got interested in kanzashi and spent years on watching how the craftsman did his created beautiful kanzashi masterpieces. He was especially fond of the Tsumami Kanzashi, as he thought that it was a miracle how tiny squares of silk cold transform into a pretty flower. He vowed to himself that he will learn this craft and someday in the future be as good as the craftsman.
He left suddenly one day as his tail started to split in two. From there on he searched for a place where spirits dwell to get confirmation that he has turned into a youkai himself. Luck was on his side he found himself walking one day into a town full of spirits. With a content heart he happily settled in and soon found himself making and selling kanzashi.

Additional info:

-Kagami is not a girl and doest consider himself to be one, but he loves female clothes as they are more decorative than male counterpart so he prefers to wear female kimonos and other clothes made for them.
- loves physical contact : being petted on the head, cuddled or even played with his hair.
- carries a golden fan with him, tucked into his sleeve. The Fan belonged to his first owner.
- you can find tiny square pieces of silk, cotton and other pretty and interesting patterned fabric in his sleeves.
- a small notebook and pen, is with him always for times when he suddenly is inspired by something, quickly writing down and sketching the ideas as to not forget them later.
- Fabric swatch collecting, owns many journals, which contain different fabric swatches and all information where it is from, what did he use it as and other small details and notes are written inside.Very messy.
-His most prized possessions are mementos of his first owner a couple of kanzashi and her fan. He secretly took them after she passed away,(the small ones(kanzashi and fan))and hid them in safe place as the things would have been given away.
