Because people steal images they do not own and a black watermark is the only way to prevent people from saying that I stole the image. People also believe that I drew the picture, which is not true,because they don't read the comments and the only way for them to SEE is to put that "hideous" watermark in a color that they will strike them.

I don't know why you make a fuss about it, it is only at the bottom of the page.

Oh I wasn't trying to 'make a fuss', I just think it detracts from the image. I'm sorry if you thought I was being rude, that wasn't my intention.
