Name of Creature: Otasae [O-Tass-I]

Location: Kumba only

Diet: Mostly hunts small and medium prey and any desert fruits

Extra Information: "Spines" on waist, crown, and chest have muscles and each can be controlled individually. On each of these spines there is a colorful dot that is bioluminescent and can be flashed to communicate with other Otasae. The dots are usually similar to the eye color and paw pads. Coat colors vary from light sandy tan to darker red-browns. Thicker skin and fur on the neck to help protect their necks from larger predators. Otasae have very long legs and is built for speed. Otasae hunt together for larger prey and live in small groups called rookeries.
