- GaleClan was overrun with kits and not enough warriors to tend to them already when they found Gerbilkit, who still needed milk
- luckily, Sheepbelly and Dreamdust are good friends, and together they brought Gerbilkit to Diesel, who immediately adopted the little sick kit into his family
- Gerbilkit will be raised with Diesel's litter until she can survive on solid food and make the trip back to GaleClan
- to further assist their allies, RootClan has sent Softfall to help GaleClan out with hunting and any other tasks they need
