This is part of the Smaugust 2023 challenge! I did #9 first. I'm going to do them all, first with a flat, side - reference (like this) and then an actual peice.

The backstory I thought up for this dragon is that it is immensely large. So large, in fact, that it can cover up suns and eat planets. Made entirely out of dark matter, and semitranslucent, this being is relatively neutral to beings but doesn't mind killing whole ecosystems to eat. Many fear the dragon. I'm working on an art piece (instead of a reference like this) soon! And I'll be following Smaugust and doing all the dragons.
