Hahaha! I love the contrast between these two.
Starfire is incredibly naieve, happy and funny whilst Raven is incredibly dark, intelligent and also funny.
...If there was a male version of either character I'd ship them because contrasting personalities (not to mention that much comic relief) make a perfect pairing. But I guess I'll have to ship the next closest thing - RobinxStarfire and BeastBoyxRaven!
(I don't like making straight characters gay or gay characters straight)
Individually my favourite characters are Starfire and Beast Boy but when these two are working together in an episode I look out for them. Nothing is funnier.
Nor more damn powerful.

Well, that's the joy of chibi/super-d, you can go off and just do crazy shit, like floating arms. Besides, it was the easiest way to complete the full hug
