Maya's just such a great sidekick in the game ^^ I tried to make her look kinda cute/pouty for no apparent reason... but my boyfriend says she looks like she's trying to look sexy. o_O;I'm getting much faster at the "no ink" technique--huzzah! XD I started this one when I got off class, just opened up a blank document in Photoshop and went for it. This was the result after 3 hours of solid painting, no breaks, no reference, no self-doubt or second-guessing.
It's not perfect or even good (too sloppy!), but it sure was spontaneous. What I wouldn't give to work like this more often. ^^
(where is her magatama, you ask? she gave it to Phoenix so he could use it to break people's psyche-locks, silly!

I think Phoenix uses Pearls' magatama in the games. I just didn't think a magatama would look good in this picture, so I left it out

I was playing Trails and Tribulations yesterday, and when Phoenix loses the Magatama, Maya threatens Phoenix saying that HER magatama was only on loam.
