Description The Observers of Virtue are the final line of defense against physical threats to the Emirate. Clocking in at over a ton, and almost 10 feet tall, they are a formidable last line of defense. Their origin is unknown, however it's believed that the 27th Emirate of Radon personally carved them from single pieces of quartz, and gifted them to the other Emirates to unite them.

*My tallest MOC I currently have assembled.

I like how bulky his arms are, and those bohrok and visorak pieces work quite well there. This looks like a solid, balanced figure.

Thanks Raine I was definitely trying to go for a bulky dude. Balanced might be a stretch though, he tends to fall over

You're welcome. ^__^ I guess you did a good job posing him here, because at least he looks like he could stand on his own. XD

It feels good to see a decent sized figure from you again. It's been a while. Most of your more recent figures were smaller, with the only large MOCs being vehicles. Looks like you went old school with this and limited yourself to older parts. I respect that cause it's something I sometimes do and it adds an extra level of challenge to building the MOC.

Believe it or not he ended up with so little modern pieces by accident. I think I was just picking large block pieces to fill up space (Mata/Metru torsos), and this is where I ended up

Old bits are good for that. That's funny though that it was all by accident.

I've kinda dropped the whole "only use parts form X era" format for newer MOCs. When updating some of the old ones like Ryakk I still adhear to it. Like He'll never have anthing newer than 2006 on him. I just like the idea of keeping him to that period and older aesthetic.

Well here's a challenge to you, make a MOC that specifically has a new aesthetic Just pieces from 2011 onward

The only "old" part on him is a Vahki hip though. But lets face it, lego hasn't made a better hip piece since then. It's by far the best one.
