....I....Freakin...Love....This...Finished commission for he asked for Feuriah and Tang having a friendly moment type of thing, and I had sketched one out (look at my Weird Hyenas workspace pictures, if you look at my sketchbook, that's Tang's original commission) but, last second, I changed it.
And damn, i'm glad I did. This is a scene from a roleplay between Tang and I. Feuriah had lost control of herself to the Fury while fighting Amber, and is in regret. She blames herself for loosing to her power, and believes that she is evil. Tang tells his new friend of his own dark past, and tells Feuriah that she, despite her black scales and emmense strength, is not evil.
So no, this IS NOT a TangxFeuriah pic xD Tang and Feuriah are close friends

I have a belief: If you're evil, and you're ashamed of being evil, then you're NOT really, purely, evil.
Take Malefor for instance: He's evil, and he knows it, but he doesn't seem to mind being evil, or called 'The Dark Master'.
conculsion: Evil.
But Feuriah: Thinks she's evil, but is clearly ashamed of herself, and crying because she's evil and doesn't want to be.
Conculsion: Not evil.

At least not entirely cause everyone has a little evil in their hearts and anyone who denies it has lied to themselves but Feuriah has gone through a lot that makes her have to do a bit more evil than regular people so what I'm saying is that she is like everyone else but has had a lot more happen to her that should have never happen

Well, of course. It's foolish to deal in extremes about anything, morality included. My previous comment was quite a long time ago if you look. Like, more than 4 years old. Between now and then you can expect my philosophy on it to have changed and/or improved a little since then: I was 17 when I made that comment, you know.
I do still subscribe to the 9 DnD alignments (Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic, Good/Neutral/Evil and the various blends of the two), but even then, people don't always act in such ways 100% of the time, since people aren't perfect. A Lawful Good character can make mistakes and do something unlawful or evil; but evil characters aren't necessarily doing what they do because they WANT to be evil; it's more a case of self-interest over altruism taken to its logical conclusion.
Coming back to it, I stand by what I originally said: To me, Feuriah is not evil. Few genuinely evil people would feel remorse for the wrongs they committed, seeing it as something they either had to do and justifying the means with the imagined end, or they don't care at all, and have some tendencies towards sadism. I don't see her leaning towards either of those realities. I will agree though, she's been through a lot, and sometimes people have to do bad things for the greater good, though there's always a line one should avoid crossing: I don't think she's crossed that line yet.

...it'd be lovely to give Ddraig a scene like this, although it wouldn't work for her. Perhaps it could be a scene in the Divine Elements story; a parent being reunited with a lost hatchling? Or perhaps even the Iggy Story, if there's a part where Ignitus starts working as the Chronicler, and gets to guide a recently-slain dragon/ess to the hatchling of theirs that they lost when the Temple was attacked...actually, perhaps he does that after getting reunited with Silvi, and then he decides to use his powers to give everyone who lost loved ones in that attack a gift...that night, every parent who lost a hatchling gets to share a dream with their mate where they spend time with their hatchling (which would also be Iggy's way of atoning for failing to save them). They won't necessarily remember it in the morning, but they'll feel oddly happy for some reason...

Oh, and in this same scene, Venimia would visit Cyril...this whole thing would be a nice moment for her, because remember, in life, she desperately wanted to be a mother. As a result of all these hatchlings being slain in the egg by Malefor's forces, these spirits will need someone to look out for them, and Venimia will be a High Spirit automatically, so she could be their nanny in the afterlife, and raise them as her own until their true parents show...

Heh, this sounds a lot like what I was saying about Ddraig when writing Closure and the followup; she fears that her past actions would doom her, yet Alexander (and Selena) both know that she'll be fine, because she feels remorse for that and is trying to make up for it (a bit like this; www.giantitp.com/comics/oots04… ).
Hmm...is this stuff that Ddraig would think already? Perhaps when it gets to the point in OSAS where Closure takes place, Alexander could comfort Ddraig in the aftermath by reminding her of her own logic (perhaps she could have said it out loud when talking about Nightshade)...I figure that Ddraig would still be a bit depressed and not able to form a proper response, so she'd just let Alexander hold her while she burrowed into him.
