The Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park had a surprise in store for us during this visit: butterflies! Along with all of the flora that the conservatory displays, they were holding a special butterfly exhibit where you can walk among the butterflies as they flutter throughout the room. We just had to walk with care so we would not accidentally step on one. Butterflies are not the easiest subjects to photograph, but they make great captures when they cooperate. This photo is one of the first series of pictures I took after receiving my Canon Rebel as a gift.
