Yep, I volunteered my skills to draw prizes for winners of ShadeofShinon contest.
I feel honored she agreed, because you know, she's my idol.

Like THISSSS MADAME...! it's blasphemy I turned into drawing for someone I adore for some reasons....

Okay,okay, I should say something with sense, because I often sound in a way unlikely I want D:<

Full drawing of one of Aerorwen OC, Arnold the Charizard.
Without shading, flat colouring. No, no cell shading, because I hate to try that and I am so so bad at it :V

At first I was supposed to draw without background, but since the sky can be drew easily by me in symbolic way and I want to improve,
I deciced to draw the backgroud

Arnold has more of Dragonite-like head, not like I would go for Charizard.
Aerorwen's wish and also whynaut? Personality little deifferences

I am not good with drawing cute things, it happens for period I also aim to put into drawing the feel or personality or situation.

What I was had in mind while drawing Arnold here?

Majesty, determination, but not aggression or dominance eighter typical "badass" look.
And of course nice scene and explanation of Pokemon evolution in her comic.

"I won't give up, I'LL LIVE...!"

As the soul flied from the body of Charmeleon, the willpower to live for its trainer changed Arnold body
-the soul returned, but with taste of freedom and pure, free energy it has gained the power...
of Pokemon that has burning spirit.
A free soul that can fly through the sky.

...A Charizard.

I also love some Pokemon, because they can be inspiring

Aerorwen , you lucky- who would resist nostalgia and as for me- a dragon that's not a dragon, but draconic master of fire,
an inspiring Pokemon type
and seriously, you lucky! I have now a period for drawing dragon Pokemon and it happened I drew one more x3

Thrivia about my redesign:

Charizard looks like a dragon, but it's draconid related with Aerosaur(officially Aerodactyl).
It has wyvern-like wings with pteroid bone in place when we think it's dragon claw- it's neat thought of mine, isn't it?
Legs are not constructed like dinosaurs has, but more of a crocodile legs- to be exact- like Krookodile species.
The tail tip has primitive feathers outgrowths which keeps the fire. the weaker body and produce of oils and specific substances, the weaker flame is.

If water move will pass through it, it won't hurt Charizard or dim the fire, but aiming an attack or putting the tail tip in the water
will let water under the skin, causing pain and hurting this Pokemon.

Charizard stores a lot of fat, because it's one of its fuel for the fire as well as keeps its body temperature in Kanto climate.
Johto has really similar climate to Kanto's so notice Typhlosion has dense fur to keep stable body temperature.
