Reef walked around the nook, watching the wynlings around him. All of them were being quite boring. He snorted. Why did nobody ever do anything interesting? He sat down and studied the wynlings surrounding him. He paused, a brown wynling catching his eye. He was drawing. That wasn't very interesting by itself, but he was one of the few wynlings who were completely alone. It intrigued him. He slowly got up and walked over to the brown wynling. He kept drawing, not noticing Reef. He clicked his claws on the wood floor. "Hello." He noted. The brown wynling looked slightly nervous. Reef tilted his head. "Ahem. Hello." He said, a bit more forcefully. The brown wynling looked up at him and nodded in greeting. Reef sat down. "It's more polite to speak when spoken to." He snootily answered. The brown wynling cringed. "Still ignoring me?" He grabbed the wynling's drawing and balled it up. The wynling stood up, surprise and fright on his face. Reef threw it behind him. "Will you speak up now?" He hissed. The brown wynling had tears forming at the corners of his eyes. "Aww is the little mute gonna cry?" He said in a mocking tone. The brown wynling opened his mouth, but no sound came out. "What was that? Speak up little mute." The brown wynling was crying now. "Pathetic." Reef stood up. "You should try speaking next time." He then walked off, not saying another word.
