I really admire how unique you've made each other them! Like real people! *_* Even how the one on the right is a bit thicker - that's sometime I've been meaning to practice, making people with a bit more weight. Otherwise, all of my characters look the same weight and it's not real. >_> lskdjflsdkjf

Ooooooh, love the new designs, especially the eyes! I also really love how unique each person looks...like, they are all clearly individuals, not one body, etc. type with different hair stules or whatever. Like...even in a pitch black outline, I could recognize who was who! And I also love how the story is more 'real world', with realistic characters, than I see in most original ideas! Makes me really interested and excited to figure out what this story is about! I hope the redesign means that you are going to work more on your story!

I love to see how people's characters change shape over time! What I find most intriguing is that one of characters, Betty, has shifted in "race." I would be curious to know what was the impetus behind this change as it often poses interesting... challenges in the development of the character.

Oh yeah! I also love seeing peoples' characters evolve!
When I first started toying around with these guys' storyline, I only had a very basic plot planned out around the relationship between Adia and Scott. Because of that, I think I spent much more time thinking about their designs and personalities than I did with the rest of the gang. The fact that Adia and Scott haven't really changed much in appearance at all over the years can be attributed to that! And sadly, I designed the rest of the characters without nearly as much thought; I was never as attached to their designs.
Betty, Max, Jeremy and Susannah were more like supporting characters/plot devices back then. Over the years, they've all become their own "people"; main characters in their own right, with their own stories and histories. Luckily, their respective races/appearances never had too much of an effect on the story as it is, so when redesigning them, I had a lot of freedom. And when looking at them all as a group, I realized that (with the exception of Adia), they were all a bunch of white kids. Living in New York, where everyone is (and the people in my own life are) pretty culturally diverse, I kind of wanted my group of kiddies to reflect that. And a new Betty was born! (Jeremy is also Latino now, haha.)
I am getting very long-winded, so I'll stop. But thank you for the comment!
