weeja — missing my october

Description Autumn is the best time of the year for me. The colors, the distinctive scent of fallen leaves, the gray tones of the sky....ahhh....great days. It could stay "eternally october" as far as I'm concerned. I shot this yesterday and it reminded me of those brisk days I miss so much.
About the photo: The original is actually B&W so I colorized it and adjusted the contrast to give it a slightly darker look and feel. I did cheat a little and added the single bird from one of my own bird brushes. I hope that doesn't make me a photo fraud

I love tree photos, they remnind me of loneliness or melancholy, stripped bare and standing alone. And by the way, I love October too....my fave time of year... miss the east coast in autumn.

Yeah: cheat, cheat, CHEAT! I love the tree shots so keep 'em coming - wonderful definition and the title is quite delicious I tend to favour October myself, though I'm now yearning for Spring proper - I feel that each season validates the next, so I wouldn't swap the temperate clime for a tropical one, though I do admit that it's rather good when a favourite season seems to extend itself...

hehe, thanks man! October is, personally, the happiest time of the year for me. This past year screamed by to quickly though. Lasted about 2 weeks it seemed. I fear it's only going to get worse
