The eye of the storm; the only place of peace amidst the chaos. Isn't that ironic?
I feel as if right now I am going through the Eye of the Storm in my life. The one little moment of peace before the storm passes on, letting me deal with it's ravages of stress and frustration.
This picture was taken in a local Greenhouse. I found this flower to be very intriguing to me. Almost as if it was a flower to describe me. The picture turned out better than expected, and gives off an almost relaxing feeling when I view it. I have to say this is one of my personal favorites. I have several others of the same flower [with different angles] but they don't give out the same emotional response.
Sorry for the lack of posting lately. I've not been up to date with my picture taking. The stress is too much for me to handle, the storm isn't making it easy for me to live life how I want it. With college, and my job as it is... little time to rest. I apologize. I cannot promise if it will get better, but I can promise that no matter what happens, I'll continue to visit everyone on DA as often as I can. Thank you for your support in these hard times.

Beautiful shot
Is it actually a flower, or is that the top of a plant. At first sight, I thought this was a photo of a bromeliad. Well regardless of what the photo is, I like it.

Glossy chilly peppers. Wow, that's an interesting way to put it! I always thought it looked like plastic... well it does actually, because the leaves are really thick and shiny looking. This is a very interesting plant. This is one of my 'theme' flowers. I might have it as my DA icon.

it is like plastic... i had just gone to this "speciallist" grocery story, and they had like 50 pounds of glossy red chillie peppers hanging everywhere, so i guess they were in my mind

No I do not... I wish I did though. It's a really lovely flower, maybe I'll get the name for it next time when I'm at the greenhouse.
