I love the colouring of FiFi Do your ferrets change colour seasonally? Avy is greyish right now and in winter will be mostly all white except for his tail tip, just like an ermine lol. I only have one ferret, but Avy did have a girl friend once, I saved from a horrid petstore that fed her rabbit food... she died from the damage of the diet though and Avy hasn't had a buddy since. Avy's two but next month he turns 3 I have my entire bedroom made into a ferret habitat - kitty condos and hammoks and tunnels everywhere and my closet is a dirtpit/cave for him.Β
Your ferrets are very pretty. You should get an albino next, they are more laid back indeed.

I don't have pics but I can post some sometime definitely. I have kitty condos mostly, side by side, and box condos I made. I used a plasma tv box to make a paper pit and a bird breeding box as his dirt pit (if you go to One Stop Pet Shop in Rockwood they have them). I have a dresser that has various beddings in each drawer for him to hide, one is all fur. He also has a feeding den where I feed him dead prey/meats so he won't stash it. He's pee pad trained because he is very texture fearful and refuses a litter box.
If Avy touches something gritty or something wet an mushy with his toes he freaks out, jumps and writhes in disgust making a horrible grimace lol. He takes baths though, but I had to teach him to get used to it (couple years back my neighbors were so infested with fleas they spread to my pets and Avy got anemic and needed a lot of baths.) He used to hear the water running before he even got in the bathroom as I carried him and he would spread his legs wide out like a splits and then his arms would do it too Β and he'd grimace lol.

yeah I thought it was pretty funny too. I guess it was a really narrow paint roller too, that's what had my dad concerned.
I assume having a pet weasel is like having a pet ferret minus the mess and smell. I saw a wild one in our garage once and he came right up to me. Looked exactly like that little fella but smaller.

My littlest girl slips hers. We had to buy a special harness, made for itty bitties. It's more cloth. This is a cute idea, though. Especially if you sold them and offered different kinds of charms?
