Description If I saw you now
Could I look in your eyes?

Do you think of me
Like I dream of you?

Do you wish you were here
Like I wish I was with you?

You've loved me before
Do you love me now?

Does love ever end
When two hearts have torn away?
Or does it go on
And beat strong anyway?
You've loved me before
Do you love me now?

Come back to me right now!
C'mon c'mon come back to me right now!

C'mon c'mon come back to me right now!
C'mon c'mon come on!

You've loved me before
Do you love me now?

You've loved me before
Do you love me now?

hi, sorry for the very late repsonse.

You're pretty much right in that the girl (Jo) was in the middle of making a life changing decision, should she leave the UK and live in the caymen island with her new BF.

The photograph captured the turmoil inside her head.

She's not mad but her head was in a mess

Excellent composition

Actually I was like when I noticed that you had already pic with this title for the 100 challenge. Fortunatelly it's for different theme than mine. So I guess it's ok. I just had this title bouncing around my mind, got it from some song but just can't remember what song or band it was.

...and no, that band wasn't Breeders, more like something goth, maybe My dying bride or something like that.

Both the sky and the sea look stormy... it really sets the mood for the picture.
And I love the slant of the horizon, how it seems to not be in line with everything else only goes to supports the feeling of underlying instability to the scene

"While the whole world screamed and rumbled, she stood there, thinking"

The contrast between the violence of the elements and her calmness is just amazing... you can feel some of that violence trough the the water and the sky... but her figure shows the calmness of things... It assures you in a way...

The sky and the sea are just amazing... and the black and white just came bring it all out

Great shot

The clamness in her is just apparent I guess... in her heart she was as dramatic as the world outside...

Oh wow. I hate you right now.

This image is so dramatic and I should go blah blah about the wonky horizon. But it adds to the imaga and needs to be wonly.

Also Breeders rock.

I can also see Nick Cave thing, it has the right sort of mood.

cheers dudebuster, I always take my shots at an angle. That's actually Brighton beach, my friend was in the middle of making a very big decision in her life, she didn't know I took the shot, I knew exactly what was her mind.

Baculus-Rising In reply to weasel35 [2006-06-07 11:11:11 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I read your comments earlier. I really like this image it's a great emotional portrait.

I got the Nick Cave thing from an earlier comment and thought 'yeah I can see that'. Which os doubly spooky as Mr Cave is a Brighton resident.
