-------------------------------------

Name: OVEC Jupiter Island
Barn Name: J.J.
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Irish Sport Horse
Age: 5
Height: 16.2 hh/168 cm
Color: Liver Chestnut Sabino Rabicano
Discipline: Hunter/Jumper
Pedigree: Starter
Genotype: coming soon
Passable Traits: coming soon
Offspring: None

For stud: No

Personality: Spirited, adjustable, and willing. Very balanced on his hind end and posses a grand amount of scope. He’ll jump from practically any spot, and gives his full effort over each fence. He has average ground manners; he’s obedient but loves to get into his handler’s business. He’s very vocal and mouthy, but not a biter, and loves being around other horses. Sometimes he gets a little stressed when training alone in the ring, but he’s working out of it.

Story: Dylan and Selene Scott had been on a roll for purchasing horses, traveling from barn to barn, looking at what was available, and assessing which animals would be best suited in their program.
They came to the Ocean View Equestrian Center with high hopes for the collection of Warmbloods being shown for sale. Selene fell in love with the stallion as soon as she saw him go. His liveliness and playful nature were a brilliant contrast to Selene’s other recently purchased youngster, Coma Divine.
After taking her first ride on him, there was no questioning that this horse would turn out to be something very special. He had a lot of talent already, and was very noticeably willing to learn.
Dylan found even more promise in him from his breeding, as the idea of having another breed, other than a German Warmblood, had much merit to it in his eyes. It would diversify the farm, and open up new doors for expanding the “herd.”
Hoping they had shown as much promise to the staff at OVEC as the stallion had shown to them, Dylan and Selene waited patiently after putting their bid down. He would make a great addition to the farm, and they were eager to bring him home.
