Description My Grandpa never called a Sycamore by its correct name they were simply those white trees. Every time I see a stately Sycamore I think of him and simpler times.

It was a giant Sycamore tree that Dan and Little Ann tree'd that coon in 'Where the Red Fern Grows'

Those simpler times are pervasive in my mind too my friend

I agree! Looks like a painting!
I can never see a Sycamore without thinking of my dad. He would always tell us how you would always know you were near water whenever you would see a Sycamore tree. We've passed that story on and now hear the younger ones telling it, too. Kinda neat to hear it going on and on...
