The layout and color scheme as a whole is fantastic, the only thing I would change is the banner; maybe incorporate a featured fine arts picture there to add a different contrast of colors.

im just thinking about those icons on top..this bird, mail ect...like this they look kinda strange, maybe would look better as text..or in buttons. well, im not sure, im not web designer, im just saying what i think

Thanks for the suggestion, but what i think that by adding links on the top, will give more text feel in design, I am not using any image on Spotlight Area but text
