Nimbuspaw loves to explore. After having heard stories of the adventures his father had in exile, he started looking at the horizon in a different way, wondering what lies beyond the edge of the world. He craves travel, and is always excited to go on a patrol or hunting expedition. His secret dream is to venture away from the Clans and simply go to distant lands to see what's out there, and experience the thrill of going without knowing where you'll end up.

[ Curious ]
Always asking questions, Nimbuspaw can be quite a hassle for older cats. He always wants to know every cat's story, where they came from and what they know. This has got him more than one swipe across the ears for harassing the more closed warriors not so ready to share their life with an eager little apprentice. He loves to hear legends and stories and often wonders what they were really like, and if those cats actually existed.

[ Amiable ]
To Nimbuspaw, there are no Clan boundaries. In his eyes, all cats are the same, and equally qualified to be his new friend. Coupled with his curiosity, he loves to meet new cats and hear their stories. He can get along with most other apprentices no matter what Clan they're from, and takes delight in getting to know strangers from other Clans.

[ Energetic ]
Nimbuspaw was always excited to become a warrior since he was a kit, and the idea made him bursting with energy and ready to get it all out in any way possible. His biggest challenge is to learn to quell that energy and focus it on training - which, since his old mentor has died, is hard for him to do.

Brief Backstory:

His first memory was that of his family. His mother Frecklenose's soft fur, his father Stormtail's strong voice and deep blue eyes. But he mostly remembers the first time he met his sister, Onyxkit. Ever since the shy, sweet-talking fela had greeted him into the world, he formed an unbreakable bond with her.
Growing to young apprenticehood, he was paired with Lightningslash as his mentor. One drizzly day, they got his first and last training session in - before the gathering. At the island, Nimbuspaw met another young apprentice from WindClan named Birchpaw.
Ever since the famine, he's grown even closer to his family and his sister Onyxpaw, fervently wanting to protect her from anything. He looks to the future with high hopes, wondering when he'll next get a mentor and continue his training.

- He's the best father I could ever ask for! I'm so lucky to have him, after all he's seen and been through, and all the stories he has to provide.

- He really is the best. I love him so much, and I love listening to his stories about the lands beyond the lake. It's amazing, and someday I hope to follow in his pawsteps.

/ Echopaw

- She attacked me at the ThunderClan-WindClan border; I never would've guessed she was a medicine cat apprentice! As soon as I knew she knew Spottedpath, I was fascinated. She certainly made a lasting first impression! Strong, and I must admit, very beautiful.

- She's such an interesting cat.. It's nice to meet others from different Clans. It was fun and a little scary to have her show me around the moorland; I felt kind of guilty for going behind my family's back, but boy, I simply couldn't resist! And I was glad I could tell her one of my father's stories.

- It's so strange... It's as if she represents everything my heart desires. She is the beauty of freedom, the exhilaration of running in the wind and flying to the horizon. She makes me really nervous, and I keep thinking of her. I felt this way ever since we spent the night together in the cave by the lake. I don't know quite what to do now, but.. I kind of hope I see her again.

/ Cherrypaw

- I met this fela outside our den. I never really officially met her, and she seems kinda nice.

- Well, she certainly knows a lot more than me! She taught me battle training, and she's really good! I may want to make a regular habit out of this.

- She's now my best friend other than my dear sister. She taught me how to hunt - once again, I'm amazed at how good she is! And best of all, she taught me how to climb trees - my new favorite past time. I came up with the idea of us becoming training buddies and learning more from each other - I'd like that!

/ Otterpaw

- The sister of Cherrypaw.. I don't know her too well, but she's really nice - and she taught me to fish! Or.. Well, at least tried to teach me, haha. That didn't go to well.

Role Play Example:

A chocolate brown tom jerked and sat upright as a sudden splash of water woke him up. Blinking open his pale green eyes, he shook his head violently and sneezed, then craned his neck around the den to find the leak in the ceiling. Plop! Another raindrop fell right on his nose.

"Fffft!" the tom burbled, wiping it off with one paw. "It's too wet in newleaf." he looked down at a smaller dark grey she-cat sleeping beside him. Prodding her with one paw, the tom mewed, "Onyxpaw! C'mon, wake up! Don't you wanna train?" His eyes lit up at the thought of being one step closer to becoming a warrior.
