A pixelart I created for a Donkey Kong fan game that my brother was making, which was planned to be an entry in MFGG's Super Competition of 2016. It draws inspiration from the DKC game over screens. I actually skipped a few details about Cranky's character design, such as the glasses and the eyebrows. At this point, I was moving on to the more necessary graphics of the game.

The theme of the competition was 'defense' and the concept of this fan game was that Cranky would be protecting DK from "the truth" by stalking him behind bushes and throwing coconuts at every Kremling out there to prevent them from speaking with DK and causing him to learn more. If DK reaches full knowledge, it's game over.

It, of course, was not released in time. I guess you could say it was... Game Over for this fan game.
