giving a weapon to a girl ? OK, I've got the idea.
But do at least make it realistic : Don't give a claymore to a girl who looks barely able to hold and wield a regular sword properly...

Actually, she is a rather accomplished swordsman that can kick MOST people's asses with that sword.
It's not the size of the sword that matters, but how it's used, and when she is using that one, she uses that weight, and it's momentum in her martial art. Sort of like the style the Germans used in the 15th century when they had their swords that were almost as tall as themselves.
My apologies if the sword might be too big for you. She handles it fine, however.
As or giving a weapon to a girl... when the English fought the Scots in battle, who do you suppose was home defending the Scottish villages? Why do you suppose the seasoned English soldiers feared entering those villages after a win?

Not too big for me. I don't care about her choice of weapon, if she's able to wield it properly.
As for giving weapon to a girl, I'm not an opponent to the idea, in case you thought. It's just that like many other perv fetishes, it recently turned into a big thing with a zillion pics around and a bad subliminal message of some sort behind.

Actually, the longer ones like that were usually used by foot soldiers to unhorse the guys on the backs of horses... it seems the guys on horse back didn't have enough hands to hold a two handed sword, and the reigns of their horses... (though, a four armed knight... that would be SO COOL!)

Well, I will bring the costuming to the devMEET... it does get sanitized after each use with both an alcohol bath, as well as a microwave clean (I take safety to an extreme, and even designed a portable microwave to use after each use for costuming... I am a bit anal that way, and I hope the models I work with thank me for such OCD like things)

Yeah... it's a condition, indeed... OCD is one of my..... things.....
But if you watch carefully, you'll notice at the meet... most people miss it... but those with an artistic mind usually catch it (I try to hide my OCD as much as possible)
