a wallpaper in tribute to breed.made this in lightwave 5.5, its all unsurfaced models with opacity and lumiosity values adjusted, maybe a surfaced version will apear in the future.. anyways enjoy.

I have been against 3-d for a long time. Often it makes things look like they're too bright or too dark, or too vivid, or not vivid enough. This piece is enough to make me a believer. Keep on truckin' and hold that DD high!

rabbitzx2001: lightwave lets you type in true-type fonts that outline each letter as a polygon with many vertices, from there i beleved it to make it 3D then used the bend tool to arc it in a circle. hope that helps ya.

This does look very sweet. Great job with the 3D. The are some things that do get me about this.
First is the plain black background. Maybe it would add some nice effect if there was some sort of a low level glow around the person.
I like how you did the wireframe effect. I was also thinking that it might add some additional effect if that wireframe effect faded from how it is at the bottom to a more smooth and realistic surface at the top without the wireframe.
These are just suggestions. This is still a very nice wall. Congrats on the DailyDev.
