Here's a drawing of my new OC, Kannon Tenmei (天明漢音)
Kannon is the name of the Goddess of Mercy and Tenmei means "light". As you can probably tell by now I have a thing for girls with short hair haha
Her awesome design was made by and you should definitely check her out!
Her kekkei genkai is Glass Release, but basically she is combining Sand Release and Fire Release to create glass in an instant. This type of glass is as solid as steel, therefore making it almost impossible to break (Glass Release: Glass Barrage is a very useful technique). She is also able to turn herself into glass, therefore making herself transparent as a form of camouflage).
So Kannon is from Amegakure and she had a troubled past as most people from this village did. When she was only 5 years old her parents were killed by order of Hanzo who was still ruling at the time because it was found out that they were against his ruling. She always wanted revenge but knew that she was too weak to be able to fight Hanzo and so she decided she would train as hard as she could to become a really strong kunoichi, holding her parents' beliefs and ideals of peace and kindness towards other people. She didn't want to let the gruesome incident turn her into a revenge seeking monster.
When Pain finally killed Hanzo she felt a huge relief but was quite anxious as to who this new ruler was and what he was about. As he never showed his face in the village and only had "Angel" Konan talk to the people, Kannon went to meet her once and was impressed when she found out that this new ruler was about peace. She told Konan she was ready to do anything for them because she stood by the same ideals. Konan challenged her to a fight to test her abilities and she stood high. And so she became Pain's tool. He would often send her on spying missions as her camouflage technique was one of the best. She was 15 at the time and is therefore 18 in the Shippuden era.
