Two doodles from the past remade four years later.
Those two drawings from late 2012 are so weird looking to me now but at least I know why. On my first and oldest account here on DA(not this one), all I ever posted was Godzilla, Transformers, anime and dinosaurs. However I was going nowhere with it and I wanted to start over on a fresh account(this one). Coincidentally, I was hearing about this new cartoon coming up named The Amazing World of Gumball and it looked like the coolest thing ever and once the show got around, I did fan art for the show but it didn't go anywhere.
I finally decided to deactivate the account and started this one.
I was trying for a more detailed cartoony look to Gumball and Darwin but I wasn't skilled enough to make it work. The style didn't last long so I then started drawing closer to the show's original style but I gave Gumball a bigger and chubbier body and crazy expressions to Darwin. I just like drawing Gumball chubby because it looks better to me than his tiny body in the show but that's my opinion.
Remember when some people thought Darwin had a black shirt/shorts? XD
