*Nods* Yes. Colouring is something only pros should do. Otherwise it comes out as random as this pic here beautifully illustrates.

Anyway, in my opinion Port’s Pokémon is a Gyarados. Definitely. Because no other country would have the patience to train it until Lv 20 with nothing but Splash and Tackle as attacks.

But, alas! It’s a magical Gyarados, because it is able to revert back to a Magikarp.

That said, Port started off with his useless Magikarp, which eventually evolved into a pretty Gyarados while Port was living his nifty era where he was actually strong, conquering territories and an empire and blablablabla. Gyarados was also pretty handy when it came down to roam the oceans and scare the natives of the to-be-colonies, me says. But then one day, suddenly, it reverted back to a Magikarp and it has been like that until our day and age.

Atm Port’s Magikarp status is probably “poisoned”.

P.S.: Almost forgot. I believe his Pokémon was a present from Roma-jii. Dr. Oak Roma-jii gave him and Toño a Pokémon at the same time.
