Thanks Walt, I had to work with a flash, I hope it shows not to much. I didn't had a softbox for my flash then, now I have a little one.

I use Gary Fong domes, but they only fit my old SB-800/SB-600 strobes. My new SB-900 has a much larger head, so I am presently looking for a compact softbox for field work.
I find I can get rid of the strong flash effect in
adobe Lightroom 2 or ACR. BTW, This does not look like an overexposed flash picture. The lighting appears just right.

Yes I looked up the SB 600/800 and the SB-900 .There is indeed a huge difference.
Yes a small diffuser is really handy for field work.
I'm planing to look for Lightroom 2.

That's too bad. The new Adobe Camera Raw will only support CS4. It's free and will do many of the things Lightroom does.

We do but I have never heard of ours having a butterfly garden before. I will have to search around to see if we do have any in our area. That would be soooooooo much fun with the macro lens!
