Can you BELIEVE that Nickelodeon refused to pick up The Modifyers and Constant Payne?

*laughs* Sad, but true. Although Zim got canceled thanks to Jhonen Vasquez' general assery this time and not Nickelodeon's. Still don't know why Catscratch got the boot, though. *sighs*

Bloody GIR was one of many reasons. To put it simply, Vasquez was determined to force more and more adult elements into the show and the bosses, understandably, kept turning it down. The argument was that he kept complaining "It's an adult show, not a kid show!" and they would respond "But this is a kid network! We can't put that kind of stuff on the air!" Eventually, they axed the program because they were sick and tired of fighting with him over it.
