It makes me feel bad that basicaly we could have avoided killing them, especially if we decide not to link the flame.
Not really an expert on the lore but why would you need the heads of the Lords (especially Lothric's who's actually not a Lord of Cinder, at least not yet) if you just let the flame die anyway?
Just look at them, they don't even have to ask I would leave the flame to screw itself without a second though.
Also because I have a thing for cute warrior guys with white hair but that's secondary.
