I am Canadian and on the day he was assassinated they closed the schools where I lived as well. We all loved him. I was young but I remember that day like it was yesterday.

Just looked at the dates and JFK had been murdered on the 23rd. I am one day too late... I got some more of this old stuff in my cellar

The print quality looks very good (maybe the paper quality). Kennedy was a myth among Americans (I've read his biography in Japanese - lol).

It´s a wonder my parents saved this stuff from 1963 and the newspapers are still in great condition! I got some more in my "museum"

Wow that brings back a memory , i was old enough to be in Elementary School, in Massachusetts ( JFK's Home State) When the school teachers came in to tell us the President had been Assassinated , and schools and the world shut down, for many days of National Mourning ...it was actually a year later ..when the Beatles came to USA that they helped snap USA out of much grief with so much of their happy music
