This is great! I think it's wonderful that you have your music from that era.
BTW, I had all the original albums (mostly Polydor) from the sixties and seventies, e.g., Beatles, Roling Stones, Steppenwolf, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Procol Harem, etc.. They were all in very good condition but as I had about 300+ of them, they were heavy and difficult to move from place to place. I gave up and I sold every one of them in the mid-eighties. I regret that.

It sounds like you had an exciting life working as a DJ.
Vinyl records did/do have a certain mystique. These days I don't even bother with CDs. I just ask Alexa (Amazon Echo) to play whatever I'm in the mood to hear. ha ha But mostly I prefer silence.
